Manchester United Fans React to Rashford's Penalty Miss ¶
Manchester United's 2-1 loss to Crystal Palace at Old Trafford on August 24, 2019, was marked by a Marcus Rashford penalty miss that left many fans divided on who should have taken the spot kick.
After Paul Pogba's penalty miss in a previous match, Rashford stepped up to take the penalty, but his effort rattled the post and refused to go in, leaving Vicente Guaita with an easy save.
Interestingly, a good number of football fans on Twitter were rather impressed by Pogba's hard work and effort, feeling he should have taken the penalty instead of Rashford.
Aside from losing the ball to Benteke and Palace scoring and winning in the dying minutes, Pogba had a good game, showing determination and driving his team forward to score.
United were defeated 2-1 by Palace in Matchweek 3 of the Premier League, with Jordan Ayew scoring the opening goal at Old Trafford on Saturday, August 24, in Manchester, as the Eagles capitalised on sloppy defending by Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof to punish United.
