On Sunday, the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) will unveil prospective Kibra MP candidates at Kamukunji grounds in Nairobi, marking a significant step in the party's plans for the Kibra Constituency by-election campaigns.
Published on August 24, 2019, the event will be led by party leader Raila Odinga, who has invited all ODM supporters and voters to the rally.
As part of the by-election campaigns, ODM is required to submit names of candidates for nominations before August 26, as per the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) regulations.
With 20 aspirants already declaring their interest in the by-elections scheduled for November 7, the campaigning period commences on September 9 and ends on November 4, with campaigning allowed from 7am to 6pm during the campaign period.
