On Saturday, Kenya Simbas faced off against Zambia in a Victoria Cup duel at the RFUEA grounds, emerging victorious with a 31-16 win.
The match saw Simbas score four tries, courtesy of skipper Curtis Lilako, loosehead prop Oscar Sarano, eighthman Elkeans Musonye, and flanker Brian Amaitsa.
Fullback Isaac Njoroge made a conversion and three penalties to seal the victory for Simbas, who maintained their clean record against Zambia, having beaten them 43-23 in the first leg.
Despite a highly physical first half from Zambia, Simbas managed to keep their play wide and secure points, with Lilako commenting, "We expected that kind of directness but they dealt with it well to keep our play wide for points."
