The Tanga Tanga faction stated the offices would be open to all Jubilee members, though party leader Uhuru Kenyatta had not yet visited.
Jubilee Chairman David Murathe confirmed the party's acceptance of the parallel office, stating Tanga Tanga allies would also fund maintenance of the main headquarters on Thika Road.
