Nigerian Director-General Condemns Bobrisky's Lifestyle as National Disgrace

On August 24, 2019, Otunba Olusegun Runsewe, the Director-General of the National Council for Arts and Culture in Nigeria, spoke out against Bobrisky's lifestyle, calling it a national disgrace.

Runsewe made his comments in an interview with The Vanguard, stating that Bobrisky's actions were not acceptable in Nigeria. He acknowledged that Bobrisky had the right to live as he pleased, but not in Nigeria.

According to Runsewe, encouraging the likes of Bobrisky to live their way would only push many Nigerian parents to taking their own lives, as no parent wants to see their kids become like him.

Runsewe also noted that there were other cross-dressers like Bobrisky living outside the country, and it was time for Bobrisky to be stopped before he formed his team of cross-dressers, which might be a disaster for Nigeria and a nightmare for parents.

Runsewe's warning comes barely days after Bobrisky announced that he had 24 boyfriends who provide for his larger-than-life lifestyle. Bobrisky has also been organizing for a lavish birthday party to be held on August 31, 2019, after one of his boyfriends gifted him with KSh 9 million.

Runsewe's comments have sparked a debate on the morality of Bobrisky's lifestyle and the impact it has on Nigerian society.
