Kiharu Member of Parliament Ndindi Nyoro has aligned with Uhuru Kenyatta allies while confronting members of the Tanga Tanga faction over efforts to remove Cabinet Secretary James Macharia from office. The political maneuvering highlights tensions within the Jubilee Party.

Nyoro publicly endorsed Macharia during a visit to Murang’a County, where the CS was inspecting road construction projects. The MP praised Macharia's management of government funds, stating, "CS Macharia has been like the chief minister in Uhuru’s cabinet considering the funds he handles. Under his watch, not even a single coin has disappeared."

The confrontation escalated when Mohamed Ali, a Nyali MP and Tanga Tanga faction member, accused Nyoro of spreading "cheap propaganda" against Macharia. Ali was reportedly lobbying for a parliamentary motion to remove Macharia over alleged incompetence.

Nyoro denied the allegations, accusing Ali of fabricating signatures to support the motion. "I checked some of the signatures on the document and some even had images of cows and you want to pass them as valid," Nyoro stated. He claimed the motion lacked sufficient support to proceed in Parliament.
