As I ventured into the world of Tinder, I was met with a mix of excitement and trepidation. Dating in Nairobi in the 21st century is not for the faint-hearted, and I was about to find out why.

With a swipe of my finger, I was thrust into a world of potential matches, each with their own unique story to tell. Some were looking for love, while others were on the hunt for something more... lucrative.

I recall one match who sent me her rate card, complete with hourly rates. It was a wake-up call, to say the least. Another match was selling charcoal, while a third was peddling multilevel marketing. I couldn't help but wonder if Tinder was the right place for these types of hustles.

But it wasn't all bad. I had some great conversations, including one with a really attractive girl who seemed to be the perfect match. Or so I thought. It turned out she wasn't the girl in the picture, but rather her best friend. Talk about a curveball.

As I navigated the world of Tinder, I encountered my fair share of weird and wonderful characters. There was the girl who followed me on all social media platforms within an hour of matching, and the one who showed up to an event demanding an explanation for why things didn't work out. It was a wild ride, to say the least.

So, is Tinder worth trying? Absolutely. But be warned: it's not a walk in the park. Be prepared for the unexpected, and always keep your wits about you.
