Easy Recipe: Broccoli and Fish Noodles ¶

For this recipe, you will need:
- 2 teaspoons of butter
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 packets of noodles (cooked according to packet instructions)
- 200g of fish fillet (tilapia), pan-seared
- 1 teaspoon of garlic ginger paste
- 200g of broccoli, blanched
- Juice of one lime
- 50g of tamarind purée (ukwaju)
- 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Here's how to prepare the dish:
Start by melting the butter in a pan over medium heat and sautéing the onions until they are golden brown.
Next, add the garlic ginger paste, turmeric powder, and blanched broccoli to the pan and continue to sauté until the broccoli is cooked.
Once the broccoli is cooked, add the tamarind purée to the pan and mix until well combined.
Then, add the cooked noodles to the pan and bring the mixture to a simmer until the liquid is almost evaporated. Adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
Finally, cut the fish into small pieces and add it to the pan, along with some extra lime juice. Combine everything well and serve. Enjoy your delicious and easy meal!
