On Friday, August 23, 2019, Sheila Kwamboka, popularly known as Kwambox, bid farewell to Homeboyz Radio after seven years of hosting the afternoon drive show.
She announced her departure on Twitter, stating that Friday was her last show on the station.
She expressed her gratitude to the station's management for giving her the opportunity to host the show and thanked her fans and colleagues for their support.
Although she did not disclose her next move, Kwambox's fans took to social media to react to the news.
Sheila Kwamboka, a former Big Brother Africa Kenya representative, co-hosted the Ignition Drive show on HBR alongside Mike Wachira and Kerry Martin.
During her time at Homeboyz Radio, Kwambox became a popular face on Kenyan TV screens, appearing as a panelist to discuss various issues affecting young people in society.
