Kenyan socialite Vera Sidika has been making headlines for her close friendship with Ugandan businesswoman Zari, but their bond has been put to the test in recent months.
According to sources, Sidika has been wining and dining with Tanasha Donna, who replaced Zari after breaking up with Diamond.
Donna and Sidika have been spotted together on several occasions, including at Kevin Obia's birthday party, where they 'reunited' and showered each other with love.
Donna was also the first to comment on Sidika's pregnancy pic, and the two have been inseparable ever since.
But what's behind Sidika's sudden shift in allegiance? Insiders claim that Sidika and Zari's friendship began to fray after Zari fell out with socialite Huddah Monroe in 2016.
Monroe, who was once inseparable with Zari, referred to Diamond as 'government property' at some point, which may have contributed to the rift between Zari and Sidika.
Despite their public feud, Sidika was invited to Zari's daughter Tiffah's first birthday, and the two were spotted together on several occasions.
However, their friendship took a turn for the worse after Sidika began to cozy up to Tanasha Donna, who has been a long-time friend of Zari's.
Donna has been advertising Sidika's Veetox tea, and the two have been spotted together on several occasions, including at Tanasha's baby shower, where Sidika dressed in a sheer outfit and pampered Donna with love.
When asked about her friendship with Zari, Sidika said, 'I've known Tanasha for like four-five years and she was like 'you have to come to my baby shower and I had to because she's my Kenyan sister. We support our sisters.'
She also advised Tanasha about motherhood, saying, 'I know its scary for a first-time mother but I know she's very smart, intelligent. We will always be here for you and support you.'
As for Zari and Sidika's friendship, it seems that their bond has finally come to an end. The two no longer follow each other on social media and rarely comment on each other's posts.
