Abby Lee Miller Defends Prince George's Ballet ¶
On August 24, 2019, reality TV star Abby Lee Miller appeared on The Claman Countdown and addressed the controversy surrounding Prince George's ballet lessons.
As reported by Us Weekly, Good Morning America co-host Lara Spencer faced backlash on social media after making a comment about Prince George taking ballet lessons during the show's Pop News segment.
Abby Lee Miller, a renowned choreographer and dance studio owner, has now spoken out in support of Prince George, stating that she has taught many successful male dancers who have gone on to have amazing careers.
"I have so many male dancers that I have trained that have amazing careers. Their Saturday morning ballet classes sure paid off," she said. "They're on Broadway. They're on world tours. They're in the new Steven Spielberg movie."
Abby Lee Miller also suggested that Lara Spencer donate her salary for an entire year to the arts, saying "That would be wonderful."
She ended her clap back by saying, "Come on, it's 2019. I thought this stuff was over. I guess I was wrong. And I'm not usually wrong. Anyway, i just wanted everyone to know that I think everyone should dance..."
