Miguna Lists Leaders Allegedly Murdered By Uhuru and His Father, Kenyans React ¶
On July 10, 2018, self-declared General Miguna Miguna took to Twitter to list leaders he alleged were murdered by previous Kenyan Presidents.
Among those listed were Pinto Gama, Kodhek, Kunga Karumba, Tom Mboya, and JM Kariuki, who were allegedly murdered by Jomo Kenyatta. Daniel arap Moi was accused of murdering Ochuka, Adungosi, Dr. Ouko, and Alexander Muge.
Uhuru Kenyatta was also named, with Miguna Miguna alleging that he had murdered Thuo, Saitoti, Mutula, Juma, Msando, and others.
Miguna Miguna's tweets sparked mixed reactions from Kenyans, with some supporting his claims and others dismissing them as mere tantrums.
"A government – any government – that murders its citizens in cold blood, feeds them mercury and lead laced sugar, violates their rights whimsically and loots trillions of shillings from their taxes, deserves to be removed from power FORCEFULLY by the people. #STOPTheseThieves" — Dr. Miguna Miguna (@MigunaMiguna) July 10, 2018
