TECNO Phantom 9 Now Available in Kenya ¶
TECNO Mobile Kenya has announced the availability of the Phantom 9 across the country, with a recommended retail price of KES. 24,999. The device can be purchased from all TECNO retail shops, Safaricom outlets, and JUMIA.
According to a press release, the Phantom 9 is a great value for its specs, including an under-display scanner, 6GB RAM, and 128GB storage. However, the author of the article is waiting to interact with the device before making a final recommendation.
The Phantom 9 was expected to be released in Kenya by mid-July, but the company faced issues with bringing in the devices. The phone has been available in other countries for a while now.
The Phantom 9 is a 2019 flagship device from TECNO, and its pricing puts it in competition with the Huawei Y9 Prime 2019, which is also priced at KES. 24,999. The author plans to compare the two devices in a future review.
