Kenya's tech enthusiasts have been eagerly waiting for the Tecno Phantom 9, and their patience has finally paid off. The device, which was announced in early July, has been available for purchase in the country since August 23, 2019.

Although the wait may have worked against the Phantom 9, as other capable devices have entered the market, the device still boasts impressive features, including Tecno's first in-display fingerprint scanner and a tri-camera setup at the back.

The Phantom 9 is priced at Kshs 25,000 and can be purchased at online and offline outlets, including Safaricom shops. For those who cannot afford the upfront cost, Tecno has partnered with LipaLater to offer a payment plan of at least Kshs 2,730 per month for a year.

Additionally, Tecno is accepting trade-ins of older Tecno smartphones for the Phantom 9, as stated in a recent announcement.
