On August 22, 2019, Tanzanian artiste Diamond Platnumz and his partner Tanasha Donna held a baby shower at Best Western Coral Beach Hotel in Dar es Salaam.
The event was attended by Diamond's parents, siblings, and other notable guests including Irene Uwoya, Vera Sidika, Rayvanny with his wife Fahima, and Mbosso.
Speaking during the event, Diamond revealed that he had to forego a USA tour to attend the special ceremony and celebrate his unborn son.
When asked about his wishes for their unborn son, Diamond expressed his desire for the child to be blessed and loved, stating, 'I just wish him blessings and love. I pray that he will be loved and that he will love me as my other kids do. I also pray that he will love his mother and my family as well. I pray that later in life he grows up to be someone who helps the community.'
