On August 23rd, 2019, Kenol Kobil, an energy company, was delisted from the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) after its successful acquisition by Rubis Energie S.A.S. at a cost of KSh36 billion.
The delisting marks the end of Kenol Kobil's presence on the NSE, leaving 61 actively traded counters on the exchange. This is a decrease from the 64 listed entities at the start of 2018.
ARM Cement and Deacons shares remain suspended from trading at the bourse.
