On August 21, 2019, a teenager visited a private clinic at Chebunyo trading centre in Bomet County, seeking treatment for headache, heartburn, and a urinary problem.

She was treated by a physician known as Kibet, who allegedly told her that some medication would be inserted into her private part.

However, Kibet's treatment took a disturbing turn when he inserted the medication using his fingers and later claimed he would use his penis to do so.

The teenager realized she was being defiled when Kibet ejaculated, prompting her to report the matter to the police.

According to a police defilement report at Lugumek Police Station, the victim was escorted to the hospital where she was examined.

The police are now searching for Kibet, who had escaped the scene by the time they arrived.
