As they approach their 14-year marriage anniversary in September, musical power couple David Mathenge alias Nameless and Wahu Kagwi are a shining example of a relationship built on trust and mutual support.

According to Nameless, the key to their success lies in their joint bank accounts and ventures, which have allowed them to grow together as individuals and as a couple.

"We are a family, so my money is yours and your money is mine," Nameless told Word Is in a 2019 interview.

He explained that they conduct their business ventures jointly, buying properties together and supporting each other's individual businesses - Wahu's Afro Siri salon and Nameless' architecture.

"I support her business and she supports mine because we want to grow together," Nameless said.

He advises other couples to have both an individual and a joint account, saying: "Have an individual account in which you can pay yourself a salary and a joint account for whatever projects you have upcoming."

When asked about couples who hold secret bank accounts from their spouses, Nameless said: "It depends on where a relationship is. There is no need to hide, so we don't have secret bank accounts."
