On Thursday, Geffrey Oduor Ojow, a Nairobi resident, appeared before Milimani Court magistrate Zainab Abdul, facing charges of allegedly hacking into Family Bank's computer system.

According to the State, the hacking occurred between late last year and this year, with the prosecution planning to call four witnesses, including John Muchiri, Anthony Chesalo, Ezekiel Mwikya, and police investigator Josephat Mugo.

Oduor, also known as Jeff Madole, Jeff Mzee, or Jojo Udukuzi, denied the charges, claiming he had no idea why he was arrested. He stated that police raided his house in Westlands, Nairobi, claiming he had guns, only to charge him with a different offense.

He was released on a Sh300,000 cash bail with an alternative of a Sh500,000 bond. The case will be heard on September 26.
