On August 21, 2019, a 16-year-old girl from Chepalungu, Bomet County, visited a private clinic in Chebunyo trading centre complaining of headache, heartburn, and difficulty urinating.
According to a police report, the doctor, identified as Kibet, allegedly told the girl that a medication needed to be inserted into her private part.
He initially used his fingers, but then told the girl he would use his penis to insert the medication. The girl realized she was being defiled when the doctor ejaculated.
The girl immediately reported the incident to the police, who visited the scene and found the doctor had escaped. She was then escorted to a hospital for examination.
A police signal from Lugumek, Chebunyo police post, booked the case as defilement (OB 17/21/08/2019).
