Arsenal vs Liverpool: Gunners' Hopes Rest on Mesut Ozil's Return

After securing wins against Newcastle United and Burnley in their first two matches of the season, Arsenal's next challenge is against Liverpool on August 24.

Unai Emery's team has been criticized for their lack of depth in key positions, with several players injured, including Hector Bellerin, Kieran Tierney, Rob Holding, and Mavropanos.

Emery is expected to rely heavily on Mesut Ozil and Granit Xhaka, who played a crucial role in their win against Burnley.

However, if Emery chooses to stick with his 4-2-3-1 formation, it would mean Xhaka taking Joe Willock's place, while Nicolas Pepe makes his first start.

Pepe's inclusion would require Alexandre Lacazette to drop to the bench, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang leading the attack.
