According to Forbes, the highest paid actors in Hollywood are not just paid for their stardom but for their ability to pull in a large audience to the screen.
Between June 1, 2018 and June 1, 2019, Dwayne Johnson, known as The Rock, topped the list of highest paid Hollywood actors, earning KSh 9.2 billion.
Chris Hemsworth came in second with KSh 7.8 billion, followed by Robert Downey Jr. with KSh 6.8 billion.
Other actors who made it to the top 10 list include Akshay Kumar, Jackie Chan, Bradley Cooper, Adam Sandler, Chris Evans, Paul Rudd, and Will Smith.
Notably, Trevor Noah, a popular South African stand-up comedian, emerged fourth in the list of top 10 high earners in the industry, with a revenue of KSh 2.8 billion.
The income calculation was done between June 1, 2018 and June 1, 2019.
