The 2019 Kenya Population and Housing Census is set to take place on the night of August 24th/25th, 2019. To ensure a smooth process, it's essential to be aware of the guidelines.
Enumerators will count everyone present in your household on the night of the census, regardless of their location. However, there are exceptions for individuals on duty, such as nurses, who will be counted with their household upon their return.
When providing information about absent individuals, you or they can answer the questions. The census will heavily rely on technology, with enumerators using Android devices to capture and transmit data.
