On August 22, 2019, the football world mourned the loss of Junior Agogo, a talented Ghanaian striker who left an indelible mark on the sport.

Agogo, who began his career at Sheffield Wednesday, went on to play for several clubs, including Nottingham Forest, Bristol Rovers, and Hibernian, where he finished his career in 2012.

During his illustrious career, Agogo represented Ghana 27 times, scoring an impressive 12 goals.

However, his life took a devastating turn in 2015 when he suffered a stroke, leaving him with speech difficulties.

Despite his struggles, Agogo remained optimistic, as evident in a 2017 BBC Four documentary where he spoke about his anxiety over his language.

Agogo's former clubs, including Nottingham Forest and Hibernian, paid tribute to the late striker on social media, celebrating his remarkable career and legacy.
