Business Today takes a look at the top new signings, including Karim Nizigiyimana, Dennis Odhiambo, Humphrey Mieno, Ismaila Diarra, and Bernard Ochieng'. These players are expected to make a significant impact in the upcoming season.
Karim Nizigiyimana (Wazito FC) ¶

Wazito FC has been the biggest spender in this transfer window, signing a total of 9 players. Among them is Burundian International Karim Nizigiyimana, who has experience playing in the KPL and has a league title to his name.
Nizigiyimana won the league with Gor Mahia during the 2016/17 season. His signing is crucial for Wazito, as their defence was not good enough for the top tier.

He was handed the armband in the 2020 CHAN Qualifiers two-legged tie against Tanzania, where they lost in penalty shootouts.
Humphrey Mieno (Tusker FC) ¶

Humphrey Mieno has returned to the KPL after a short spell abroad. He joins Tusker FC, where he will link up with former Gor Mahia teammate George 'Blackberry' Odhiambo.
Mieno has vast experience in the local league, having played for 18-time KPL champions Gor Mahia.
Ismaila Diarra (AFC Leopards) ¶

AFC Leopards have finally landed Malian striker Ismaila Diarra, who joins the club from Rwandan side Rayon Sports.
Ingwe have also signed 6 other players, as they look to get the team back to winning ways.
Bernard Ochieng' (Wazito FC) ¶

Wazito FC has signed Kenyan International Bernard Ochieng' from relegated side Vihiga United, where he was captain.
Ochieng' was part of the Kenyan squad that represented the country at the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Egypt.
