Medical negligence is a growing concern in our healthcare system, with many mothers falling victim to the careless practices of nurses and doctors.
While modernization would suggest that mothers' healthcare should be better, the reality is that many women continue to suffer at the hands of our medical practitioners.
A recent case highlights the severity of this issue. A new mother experienced abnormal stomach cramping and alarming bleeding after giving birth, only to discover a rotten bandage in her body months later.
According to the woman, it took 30 minutes for the bandage to be removed, leaving her with a painful and potentially life-threatening situation.
When she confronted the nurses and doctors who helped her through the birth process, they dismissed her concerns, saying that forgetting a bandage was a common and normal occurrence.
This is a disturbing trend that needs to be addressed. Many women have had to deal with foul smells and life-threatening mistakes after giving birth, and it's time for us to take action.
As we mourn the loss of mothers who have fallen victim to medical negligence, we must also demand better from our healthcare system.
