Novak Djokovic and Naomi Osaka, the reigning world number ones, were named top seeds for the 2019 US Open.
Djokovic, the defending champion, will be chasing a 17th Grand Slam singles title in New York next week, while Osaka is ranked number one in the women's draw.
The men's field is led by Djokovic, with Spain's Rafael Nadal seeded second and former world number one Roger Federer seeded third.
Osaka's main rival in the women's draw is 2018 runner-up Serena Williams, who is seeded eight.
The draw for the men's and women's singles takes place on Thursday.
