South African hip-hop star Sho Madjozi has taken the Kenyan music scene by storm with her latest song, 'John Cena', which features her rapping in perfect Swahili.

Released on August 15, 2019, the song has garnered over 900,000 views on YouTube and counting, with netizens praising her strong punchlines, beats, and well-arranged Swahili lines.

Sho Madjozi's lyrics in the song are a testament to her skill, with lines like 'Unajifanya hunioni labda mimi John Cena, ulinifanya mfungwa wako labda mimi Madiba'.

The song has even caught the attention of WWE wrestler John Cena, who shared a post of Sho on his Instagram page and tweeted about the song, saying 'You might not be able to see it, but you can certainly HEAR the newest song of the summer "John Cena" by South African rapper/songwriter @ShoMadjozi! @JohnCena,'

Sho Madjozi first appeared in the music scene in 2017 with her debut single 'Dumi HiPhone', and has since become a household name in both South Africa and Kenya, with her success culminating in her winning a B.E.T award for Best New International Act and the Female Artist of The Year award at the South African Music Awards in 2019.
