Published on August 22, 2019, Kenya Rugby Union is preparing for a challenging match against Zambia in the Victoria Cup on Saturday.
Kenya Rugby Union Chairman Oduor Gangla has called on fans to rally behind the team, saying, "We want to rally behind Kenya and hope fans will give the voice required."
Kenya is expecting a tough match against Zambia, who have already lost two matches in the Victoria Cup, first to Kenya 43-23 in July and to Uganda 38-22 last weekend.
Zambia's national 15s team captain, Edward Mumba, expressed confidence in his team's ability to seal its place among Africa's best teams, saying, "We have trained hard and have to stay focused. But it will be hard against Kenya."
The Victoria Cup features Uganda, Kenya, Zimbabwe, and Zambia in a double round-robin format.
