On August 21, 2019, Borussia Dortmund announced that England winger Jadon Sancho had agreed to a new contract worth about £190,000 a week, including bonuses.
Sancho, 19, had been the subject of interest from Manchester United during the summer transfer window. He scored 13 goals in the previous season, helping Dortmund finish second behind Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga.
Sancho has continued his impressive form this term, scoring in Dortmund's opening league game against Augsburg, which they won 5-1.
Originally signed from Manchester City in 2017, Sancho's previous deal was set to expire in 2022. He made his England debut against Croatia in October 2018 and has since earned six caps.
