August 21, 2019 - Musalia Mudavadi, leader of the Amani National Congress (ANC), has criticized Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka, calling them opportunists for joining forces with the Jubilee government.

Mudavadi, who was a vocal critic of the government after Raila Odinga and Uhuru Kenyatta's handshake, stated that he has no interest in joining the government and that he will form his own government after the 2022 general elections.

"I have said it before, I do not want a job in the government. I am an opposition leader and I will not accept a government job now. I am waiting for 2022 to form my own government," Mudavadi said.

Mudavadi also criticized leaders of the National Super Alliance (NASA) for joining forces with the Jubilee government, saying they have betrayed their supporters.

"It is hypocrisy for some leaders to join the government while claiming to be in the opposition. You cannot be in the government and opposition at the same time," Mudavadi said.
