Italian international Davide Zappacosta, 27, has arrived in Rome to complete a season-long loan deal with Roma.
Zappacosta joined Chelsea from Torino in 2017 for £23m, but his time at Stamford Bridge has been marked by limited playing opportunities.
After making 22 appearances in his first season, he played only four times in the 2018-19 season and has not made an appearance for Chelsea this season.
Zappacosta's departure follows that of fellow defenders David Luiz and Gary Cahill, who have already left Chelsea this summer.
