Wasafi Tightens Security Amid Artist Exodus

Published on August 21, 2019

Wasafi Classic Boyz, the East Africa's leading music producing label, has tightened its security measures amid speculations of things breaking loose.

The move comes after several artists have left the label, including Happy Birthday hit singer Harmonize, who recently formed his own label Konde Gang.

According to sources, Diamond Platinumz, the WCB boss, has invested heavily in the new security measures, but the nature of the investment remains unclear.

Observers have likened the label's security to that of a narcotics cartel, with heavily built bodyguards ready to protect their clients at all costs.

While the security measures may be seen as a necessary precaution, some have questioned whether they are excessive.
