Nazizi and Chiki Kuruka Join Standard Group's Vybez Radio ¶
On August 20, 2019, Kenyan musician Nazizi Hirji and fitness expert Chiki Kuruka announced their new roles as presenters at Vybez Radio, a reggae station launched by The Standard Group.
Nazizi, a well-known hip hop and reggae musician, expressed her gratitude to God for the opportunity, stating that she had been waiting to share the news with her fans for a month. She will be hosting a show on Vybez Radio every evening, sharing the 'vybez and Livity' with her audience.
Chiki Kuruka, who is also Bien Aime's girlfriend, will be co-hosting a show with DJ Real Heno. Her Instagram page features pictures of herself inside the new Vybez Radio studios, giving fans a sneak peek into her new work environment.
The announcements came just hours after The Standard Group officially launched two new radio stations, Vybez Radio and Spice FM, which will be playing reggae and old school music.
Chiki Kuruka's move to Vybez Radio comes about a year after she joined NRG radio, where she hosted a games show with a live studio audience.
