Manchester United's 1-1 draw against Wolves at Molyneux on August 19, 2019, saw Paul Pogba miss a crucial penalty.

According to Marcus Rashford, Pogba had expressed his desire to take the penalty, and Rashford had no problem with that decision.

As reported by Gary Neville, a Sky Sports pundit and former Manchester United legend, Rashford had initially taken the penalty against Chelsea the previous week and scored.

However, in this instance, Rashford gave Pogba the opportunity to take the penalty, and the Frenchman's powerful effort was saved by Wolves' stopper Rui Patricio.

Rashford later explained, "Paul wanted to take it, it's that simple," adding that anyone can miss a penalty, and it's normal to miss one.

On the other hand, Gary Neville expressed his frustration with the decision, stating that there should never be a debate over who takes the penalty, and that Pogba has missed four penalties in the last 12 months.
