On August 20, 2019, a shocking revelation emerged from the University of Nairobi, where a third-year student, Gabriella Nduta, accused Deputy President William Ruto of infidelity.
According to Nduta, she met Ruto at a fundraising occasion early last year and the two fell in love. However, she claims that Ruto turned out to be a cheat, wasting her emotions and eventually dumping her for another woman.
‘I never knew he was a cheat as he was ever cool. He has wasted the woman in me and dumped me for a very skinny girl. I am now unable to finish my education as I cannot stop thinking about him,' Nduta said in an emotional interview.
Nduta has since urged politicians in the country to stop taking advantage of vulnerable women, saying that she lost her self-worth and emotional stability due to Ruto's actions.
