Two Nakuru Police Officers Arrested for Soliciting Bribe

On Monday, two police officers in Nakuru County were taken into custody for allegedly soliciting a bribe.

The officers, identified as constables Hezron Jogoo and Daniel Muigai, were attached to Menengai and Nakuru Police Stations respectively.

According to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), the duo demanded and received Ksh.20,000 from a man at Highway Towers, accusing him of forgery.

Published on August 19, 2019, the officers are expected to be arraigned in court on Wednesday.
