On August 19, 2019, regional low-cost carrier Jambojet announced a partnership with cab hailing company Little to offer a Kshs.150 discount on cab rides to its customers.
The three-month initiative aims to provide Jambojet customers with affordable and convenient travel to and from airports in Nairobi, Mombasa, and Kisumu.
According to Jambojet Chief Executive Officer Allan Kilavuka, the partnership is part of the airline's efforts to enrich its customers' travel experience.
Little is also leveraging Jambojet's inflight advertising platform, which allows the company to advertise to a targeted captive audience on the airline's De Havilland Dash 8 Q400 aircrafts.
“Jambojet is the first airline to use this advertising platform, offering brands an effective way to reach consumers who are increasingly difficult to influence through traditional media,” said Kilavuka.
Head of Global Expansion at Little, Anoke Chisom, added that the partnership will offer Jambojet customers more convenience and affordability to and from the airport.
Notably, Jambojet has recently received several accolades, including the IATA Operational Safety Audit certification (IOSA) and the Bombardier Reliability Award for outstanding performance in dispatch reliability in 2018.
