On August 19, 2019, Centum Investment Company finalized an agreement to sell its 100% ownership in King Beverage Limited to Danish Brewing Company East Africa Limited.
King Beverage Limited is a leading distributor of Carlsberg beer and Tuborg in the East African region.
This deal marks the second major beverage sale by Centum in 2019, following the sale of its stake in Almasi Beverages Limited and Nairobi Bottlers Limited to Coca-Cola Sabco East Africa Limited in June.
