On Sunday, August 18, 2019, Earthlight 2-1, ridden by Mikaell Barzalona, secured a thrilling victory in the Darley Prix Morny at Deauville, France.

The race saw a strong challenge from Raffle Prize (Frankie Dettori 3-1) and Golden Horde (Allan Kirby 5-1), but Earthlight, trained by Andre Fabre and owned by Godolphin, held its ground.

Arizona (Ryan Moore 3-1), A'Ali (James Doyle 9-1), and Aroha (William Buick 12-1) completed the top five finishers.

Trained by the renowned Andre Fabre, Earthlight, a son of Shamardal, has already generated significant buzz as a potential contender for the Qipco Guineas.

According to Fabre, Earthlight is a highly regarded horse, and its composed performance in the Prix de Morny has only strengthened its Classic potential.

Meanwhile, Crystal Ocean, the world's highest-rated thoroughbred, will face eight rivals in the Juddmonte International Stakes at York on Wednesday, with a prize fund exceeding £1 million.
