As the English Premier League enters its second week, Liverpool and Arsenal stand out with perfect records, while Chelsea's Frank Lampard is yet to taste victory as the Blues' manager.

On Saturday, Manchester City's dominance was on full display as they drew 2-2 with Tottenham, with Pep Guardiola hailing the performance as the best of his tenure at the Etihad.

City's 30 shots on goal to Tottenham's three were a testament to their attacking prowess, but the manner in which they conceded two soft goals will give their rivals hope.

Meanwhile, Chelsea's 1-1 draw with Leicester left Frank Lampard with plenty of work to do, as the Blues' young midfielder Mason Mount marked his home debut with a goal in the seventh minute.

However, Chelsea's bright start faded badly, and they were lucky not to lose after Wilfred Ndidi's equaliser.

Among the promoted clubs, Sheffield United and Norwich have made a brighter start to the season, with Norwich's Teemu Pukki already scoring four goals in two games, including a Premier League hat-trick against Newcastle.
