Kenya has once again made its mark on the global stage, thanks to the impressive achievements of its citizens. The latest example is Evelyn Owala, a talented female bodybuilder who has won the coveted Women's Bodybuilding 2019 Championship title in Angola.
On Saturday, Owala was awarded the title by the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (IFBB), marking a significant milestone in her career.
Her latest victory comes hot on the heels of her success at the annual Arnold Schwarzenegger Sports Festival held in South Africa in May, where she took home two trophies.
As a personal fitness trainer and proprietor of Eveal Health and Fitness, Owala has always been passionate about keeping fit. She even quit her banking career to pursue her dream.
On social media, Owala shared the news of her victory with her Instagram fans, expressing her gratitude to her support team and inspiring others with her message of self-empowerment.
"To all the people who keep asking if they are good enough; YES, YOU ARE! You are seasoned for the season! African championship wellness 1st place," she wrote.
She also thanked her loved ones for their unwavering support, saying, "In my country, there exists good people, people like my better half who puts up with my prep sunny and dull days but still kisses me on the forehead and says, it is ok."
