Four years ago, video director Jibril Blessing, alias J Blessing, and his ex-lover Chantelle lost their six-month-old baby boy Kyle. The heart-wrenching experience still lingers in their minds.

During an interview with Mpasho.co.ke, J Blessing shared the painful details of losing his son. He recalled that Kyle was given an immunization injection and passed away a few weeks later.

At the time, J Blessing was going through a lot in life and had faith that God would heal his son. He spent time praying and had faith that the Almighty would save Kyle.

However, things didn't go as planned. Five minutes after J Blessing prayed for his son's healing, he received a call from the hospital that Kyle had passed away.

Reflecting on the experience, J Blessing said it taught him a lot. He realized that the ways of God are not our ways and that sometimes we pray for healing, but God knows what we really need.

Chantelle's last message to her son before he was laid to rest read, 'I will really really miss you my love, you will always be my son, my first born [with Chantelle], my everything my will was to have you for a 100 yrs but you are an angel that God really wanted, I am blessed to have had you for all those months you taught me a lot, I will always celebrate you my munchkin. I know you're smiling from above, I love you my son.'
