Christian Pulisic Snubbed Manchester United for Chelsea Due to Jose Mourinho

Christian Pulisic, a 20-year-old American footballer, made a significant move to Chelsea from Borussia Dortmund in January 2019 for £57.6 million. According to his former coach, Robin Walker, Pulisic's decision to join Chelsea over Manchester United was largely influenced by his dislike for Jose Mourinho's management style.

Walker, who coached Pulisic during his youth days at Brackley Town, revealed that Pulisic's father was also not a fan of Mourinho due to his tendency of not promoting young players to the senior team.

"He wouldn’t go to Manchester United because of Jose Mourinho. His father couldn’t stand Mourinho, because he didn’t promote young players," Walker divulged to The Telegraph.

On August 11, 2019, Pulisic made his Premier League debut for Chelsea in their season opener against Manchester United, which they lost. Despite this, the young player has been tipped to become a massive asset for the Blues as he settles in England.
