On August 16, 2019, Pastor Ng'ang'a of Neno Evangelism Centre made headlines for all the wrong reasons. In a video that has left many angered, he was seen humiliating a woman in front of the congregation for carrying a paper bag.
The incident occurred when the woman, who was 48 years old at the time, made her stand at the altar. Pastor Ng'ang'a asked her why she had worn rubbers instead of other shoes, to which she replied that she had left home while it was drizzling.
However, Pastor Ng'ang'a was not satisfied with her explanation and went on to say that the reason she was 'Amechanganyikiwa' (embarrassed) was because of her age. The video has sparked widespread outrage, with many condemning Pastor Ng'ang'a's actions as shameful and humiliating.
As the video shows, the woman was left feeling embarrassed and humiliated in front of the congregation. Many have taken to social media to express their outrage and disappointment at Pastor Ng'ang'a's actions.
