On Thursday night, the music world in Tanzania was shaken by the sudden death of Mbalamwezi, a vocalist for the rising group The Mafik.
According to reports, Mbalamwezi's body was found naked and dumped, and investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of his death.
On August 18, 2019, Mbalamwezi was laid to rest at his home in Tandika, Tanzania, in a funeral attended by popular Tanzanian artistes, including Harmonize and Ali Kiba.
A postmortem was conducted, but the police have yet to release details of the findings.
