Michael Olunga, the Harambee Stars striker, continued his impressive form in Japan by scoring the winner for Kashiwa Reysol in a J2 league match against V-Varen Nagasaki on August 17, 2019, at the Transcosmos Stadium in Nagasaki.

Matheus Savio gave Reysol the lead in the eighth minute, but Hiroto Goya levelled the score from the penalty spot in the 50th minute.

Olunga sealed the win for Reysol with a powerful header in the 75th minute, securing the maximum points for his team.

Reysol is currently top of the J2 league with 58 points from 28 matches and is fighting hard to earn promotion back to the top-tier.

Up next for Reysol is a league match against bottom-placed Gifu next Sunday at the Naragawa Stadium.
