On Saturday, Harambee Stars striker Michael Olunga continued his impressive form in Japan, scoring the winner for Kashiwa Reysol in a 2-1 victory over V-Varen Nagasaki at the Transcosmos Stadium in Nagasaki.

Matheus Savio gave Reysol the lead in the 8th minute, but Hiroto Goya levelled the score from the penalty spot in the 50th minute. Olunga then powered home a solid header in the 75th minute to seal the win for Kashiwa Reysol.

Reysol are currently top of the J2 league with 58 points from 28 matches and are fighting hard to earn promotion back to the top-tier. Olunga, who joined the team from Chinese side Guizhou Zhicheng mid last year, has scored 12 goals in 19 appearances this season.

Next up for Reysol is a league match against bottom-placed Gifu next Sunday at the Naragawa Stadium.
