Felix Shitsama, a former vice-chairman of AFC Leopards, tragically lost his life in a road accident on Saturday, August 17, 2019, at the Timboroa area.
Shitsama was traveling with two friends to Malava for a family funeral when the accident occurred.
According to reports, the two friends sustained minor injuries and were rushed to a hospital in Eldoret, where they were treated and discharged.
AFC Leopards confirmed the incident through their official Facebook account, stating that Shitsama died while seated on the co-driver's seat.
The club expressed their condolences to Shitsama's family and friends, saying, "Our immediate former club vice-chair Felix Shitsama is dead. He was involved in a grisly road accident at Timboroa."
Shitsama was elected as the club's vice-chair in 2016 and was known for his humility, hard work, and commitment to the club. He leaves behind a young family.
