At 59, Simon Cowell is feeling better than he has in years, thanks to a 20-pound weight loss since 2017. The America's Got Talent judge's transformation is a testament to his commitment to his health, especially now that he is a dad.

After fainting and falling down the stairs due to low blood pressure in 2017, Cowell knew he had to take his health seriously. He underwent food allergy testing, which he now calls 'crazy', and made significant changes to his diet and lifestyle.

According to Cowell, the secret to his weight loss is not following a fad diet, but rather cutting out the obvious unhealthy foods. He has gone vegan, ditching dairy and meat, and has found it easier than he thought. He now takes almond milk in his tea and eats almond milk yogurt instead of regular yogurt.

Cowell has also cut out carb-heavy comfort foods like hamburgers and spaghetti, although he still misses pizza from time to time. Despite finding the adjustment 'hard' at first, Cowell is now feeling the benefits of his new lifestyle. 'Once you get used to it, it's easier,' he said. 'You feel better, my memory is better. So I didn’t find it difficult. I can still have beer, so I’m happy.'
